Entry Level Police Dispatcher

A Civil Service examination for the position of Entry Level Police Dispatcher in the City of Clyde, Ohio will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the basement of the City Municipal Building, 222 N. Main Street, Clyde, Ohio.  Job responsibilities include: answering incoming telephone calls, operate computer, radio console and peripheral electronic equipment to relay information concerning law enforcement and other emergency information.  Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in verbal form and under stressful conditions.  Must pass FBI, BCI as well as local background checks.  Must be certifiable upon employment for LEADS, OLLESIN/OHLEG, WEB Check and Cody or other in-house Software Certification.  Keyboard skills are required. May perform other related duties as required.  Applicants must have graduated from high school and a copy of high school diploma or GED must accompany the application.  Applicant must have typing ability and show proof of a valid driverís license.  If applicable, Military Discharge Form DD-214 must accompany the application.  Applications may be obtained at the Clyde Municipal Building from the City Managerís Office or online beginning Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. and returned no later than 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 3, 2015.  Register to download applications and instructions for returning all required documents at http://jobs.clydeohio.org  EOE/ DFWP

Part-time Fire Department
The City of Clyde Fire Department is accepting applications for future part-time unclassified fire fighter positions .  Applications are available in the City Manager's office, 2nd floor Clyde Municipal Building, 222 N. Main Street, Clyde, OH.

Qualifications - Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities as listed: Completion of required fire service training; demonstrable ability to perform heavy physical labor under hazardous conditions.  Must possess a valid Ohio driverís license and hazardous materials technician training.
