Charter Review Commission

Overview

The Charter Review Commission shall be made up of nine qualified electors of the City of Clyde, Ohio, and shall review and recommend to the City Council any alterations, revisions, and amendments to the Charter of the City of Clyde, Ohio as in its judgment seem desirable for consideration by the electorate at the general election in November of the year following the year in which such commission is convened. The Council shall submit to the electors any such proposed alterations, revisions, or amendments in the manner prescribed herein. The Commission sets its own meeting times and generally meets one evening per month for approximately six months. Any recommendations are then made to Clyde City Council, following all meetings.
